What We Believe

Our Principle Distinctives

  • The Bible as the inerrant Word of God
  • Jesus as Israel’s Messiah and Savior of the world
  • Jesus’ sacrifice on the tree, bodily resurrection, and imminent return
  • Forgiveness of sin through faith alone in Jesus
  • The distinction between Israel and the church, and Israel’s restoration
  • The gospel for the Jew especially and the Gentile equally

Our Primary Message:
The Gospel of Jesus Christ

To The Sinner:  Salvation

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

To The Saint:  Sanctification

I am crucified with Christ:  nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me:  and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galatians 2:20

What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and that it has absolute authority in every area of life.

We believe in one God who eternally exists in the three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

We believe that every person is born a sinner, separated from God, and totally incapable of saving himself from his sins through effort or religious exertion.

We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth as a baby for the purpose of living a sinless life, and dying in the place of every sinner upon the cross.

We believe that Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, and that He offers eternal life and deliverance from the power and penalty of sin for all who will place their dependence in Him alone.

We believe that disbelief in the person of Jesus as the eternal Son of God, or rejection of his work on the cross, will result in eternal judgment in the Lake of Fire for all sinners.

We believe that faith in Christ alone will result in eternal life with God in Heaven.

We believe that Christians should live a holy life and perform good works as the response of a grateful heart toward God, and not as a means by which to attain grace.

We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation, and that He remains in residence for the entirety of the life of a believer.

We believe that a Christian must depend upon the Holy Spirit living within if He desires to have victory over sin and live a life which is pleasing to God.

We believe that God has commanded every Christian to share the gospel and make disciples for Christ.
